Back in the day, the Ford Ranger appeared as an unassuming short bed cab with low pricing and a lack of features. Sadly, the uneventful Ranger truck was discontinued in 2011 after bad reviews and diminished sales.

Today, it’s a different story.

Ford announced a new 2019 Ford Ranger this year, built tough, ready for adventure, and totally customizable. The Ranger has been tested through blistering heat, freezing cold, and wicked terrain to earn the Built Ford Tough title and your respect.

Features include steel framing, Trail Control to maintain a safe speed of under 20 mph on rocky off-road trails, Terrain Management System with four shift modes to choose from like Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud Ruts, Sand, and Normal. Models range from the basic of XL, XLT, and Lariat to XL Chrome, STX, XLT Chrome, XLT Sport, Lariat Chrome, and Lariat Sport.

The 2019 Ford Ranger excels with features like the 2.3L EcoBoost engine with Auto Start-Stop technology, 10-speed automatic transmission, 3 towing profiles available for you to configure, Blind Spot Information System with trailer coverage using radars, as well as Blind Spot mirror warnings. These features blow the old Ford Ranger right out of the mud!

The new 2019 Ford Ranger also has adaptive cruise control with radar sensors that warn if a vehicle in front of you is slowing, Available Lane-Keeping System to avoid drifting into other lanes, and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection so you don’t (literally) bump into your friends on the trail. Don’t forget about FordPass connect which allows you to create an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot available to up to 10 devices within 50 feet of the vehicle and keep track of data usage.
