When you hear the term “Black Widow” your first thought might be marvel’s red headed superhero. But after seeing the new F150 Black Widow Truck from Ford, you’ll be saying, redhead who? Black Widow has done it yet again by modifying a truck that lets one express their individuality while also sticking to their core values.
Ford Black Widow Truck Design
The designers of the Ford Black Widow Truck know how to make a grown person cry–happy tears, of course. The designers have also given a lot of room for flexibility in creating a look that fits the specific customer. For example, those two “C” shapes on either side of the grill can be whatever color you want (with some limitations). Same goes for the little hourglass in the grill, which in this photo, is red. In this reference photo, you’ll also notice the name “Black Widow” is at the top of the windshield which is tied together all around the vehicle with black widow badges that are on the doors and the back of the truck (this is a plus for people who are bad with vehicle names). Moving to the top of the hood, there are newly designed vents as well as fender flares on the sides.
Standard Features
On a more technical side of the Black Widow customized truck, it has a standard of fox rear shocks and a six-inch lift kit. However, if six inches is too tall for your liking, they also offer a four-inch lift. Something else that we love about this truck is that there is an option to get a power running board upgrade, aka, a step to help you get into the vehicle.
The wheels are an all-new Black Widow design, 20 inches and come with standard 35-inch BF Goodrich AT K02 tires. Or, you can also choose to have 22-inch wheels if the typical setup isn’t bold enough. Flexibility–we love it! Interior wise, this truck has new gauges, a new leather-stitch design with new black widow badging on the head rests.
