Engine

The 2024 Ford Expedition is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine with added EcoBoost. This powerful engine is paired with a robust 10-speed transmission, and the option to switch between rear or all-wheel drive. On the Limited trim model, the 3.5L engine gets an added boost of speed and power. On the Timberline trim, the engine gets another significant power boost with the Stealth Performance Package. That of which makes it as fast as other V8 SUVs on the market.

Top Speeds

The 2024 Ford Expedition can achieve an impressive top speed of 149 mph, with a 0-60 time of only 5.5 seconds. This is already extremely quick for a large SUV, but with the Sealth Performance Package, you can still go faster. The standard 3.5L twin-turbocharged engine can generate up to 380 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Limited trim model with the boosted 3.5L engine can generate up to 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. This allows the Ford Expedition Limited to achieve a top speed of 157 mph, with a lightning fast 0-60 time under 5 seconds!

MPG

Size, speed, and capability are all the strong suits of the 2024 Expedition. Therefore, the fuel efficiency won’t compare to smaller SUVs or sedans, but is instead more in line with other large SUVs. All rear wheel drive models are rated to get 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. Meanwhile, the all-wheel drive models drop those numbers both by only 1 mpg.

Interior

The 2024 Ford Expedition is a large SUV, and has plenty of room to stretch around.
