In January, Ford Motor Company announced an all-electric F-series pickup truck. The F-150 and Raptor trucks are assembled in the Dearborn Truck Plant, while the new 2020 Ford Ranger is built at the Michigan Assembly Plant. Thanks to Ford’s partnership with DTE Energy, Ford is fulfilling it’s promise to go green.
Ford has been one of the pioneers in the space of using alternate sources of energy. As early as 2010, Ford announced that they would reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced by their vehicle manufacturing 30% per vehicle by 2025.
