It’s been over 20 years since Ford announced it would no longer manufacture the Bronco; but after 2 decades have passed, the Bronco is officially making its return.

At the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, Ford officially announced that they were bringing back the Bronco in 2020 after its discontinuation in 1996. As of now, not much is known about the new model of Bronco aside from when it will be released and that it is being built alongside the new 2019 Ford Ranger, and will likely encompass similar features.

At one point in time, not long ago, the Bronco was considered the embodiment of the American South and Midwest. With a rugged and open design that preached freedom on the open road, the Bronco has a history entangled with that of the Jeep Wrangler as its main competitor, which will surely be reborn in 2020.

Soon more information will begin to come out about this new truck, but one thing that can be assured of based on its past models is its off-road ability as well as a tough and sharp design that pays homage to its ancestors.

We are all excited to see the return of the bucking bronco emblem that has become iconic over the generations to Ford dealerships across Oklahoma.
