Finally! This is what we Ford fanatics have been waiting for! Move aside Jeep Wrangler, we’ve got a new off-roading champion vehicle. After 25 years in the dark, a quarter of a century, the Ford Bronco has decided to grace the automobile industry with an off-roading vehicle, with amazing features, as you’d only be able to dream about.

Which Ford Bronco model is your favorite? Every Ford lover has one! Was it the 1983 Muscle Car model seen in “Terminator 2” that served as Arnold Schwarzenegger companion for the film? Possibly, the charming 1970 model that was used as Keanu Reeve’s ride in “Speed”? Ooo! Or, maybe, it’s the rugged 1982 model seen in “No Country for Old Men”? Ford would like to invite you to get enamored with another version of the beloved, highly awaited vehicle, the 2021 Ford Bronco.

It’s Not Just a Bronco, but a Lifestyle

Imagine if the vehicle you drove not only knew your lifestyle but validated it! It’s no secret the Ford Bronco is a substantial choice for drivers who fearlessly indulge in their off-roading tendencies. Ford not only recognized that but gave their diehard Bronco fans some assistance. The FordPass App within the navigation system of the vehicle holds over 1,000 curated off-road trails for drivers to explore! When selecting a path to explore, the driver is given fundamental information like estimated time of completion, total distance, and difficulty rating. Within this information are also warnings about access rules and permits that the driver will need to ensure a safe trip.

These maps, coming with a satellite view option, cover all of North America. These trails were inspected and mapped by real people who also helped craft the software’s features. These “real people”, or the surveying teams on the task, took it a step further and have identified obstacles and waypoints that you’d encounter along the way! The application also gives you insight into the weather, up to 10 days ahead of your anticipated off-roading plans. (Huge benefit for our mountain explorer friends who want to get ahead of the swift weather shifts.) Looking to drift from the main trail? Bronco expected that and gave drivers the ability to guide themselves back to the trail if needed. It’s evident that Ford wants you to be prepared to the fullest extent!

Positively Torture Tested

This Ford Bronco SUV, as Ford can proudly attest, was “torture-tested” to guarantee wild drivers a safer trip. But, wait, what does that mean? This 2021 Ford Bronco endured the infamous Baja 1000, one of the most rigorous off-roading endurance races. It was also tested through the “King of the Hammers” otherwise known as the Johnson Valley Desert. Ford strives to produce the utmost reliable SUVs that are “Built Ford Tough”, and this model only reinforces that. This Bronco model is one-step ahead of the sharp rocks, steel inclines, sharp drops, and fallen branches due it’s high bottom clearance.

Under the Hood

First, we have to start with what’s under the hood. You’ve got a  2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine, with 300 horsepower! It has a manual transmission. Like any good off-road withstanding vehicle, it has four-wheel drive! This model has wheels that can withstand 33.5 inches of water. How? Its tire sizes are 30 inches and larger! It’s highly water-resistant with marine seat vinyl fabric in the seats, a durable rubber floor, and a drain system inside of the car! The 2021 Bronco has six packages that include the standard packaging, paired with their individual, upgrading features: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak!

You can list the Bronco’s sleek, ultra-stylish exterior as its first wow factor. You don’t like the design of the car? Awesome! Ford will happily assist in helping you customize your vehicle! Its highly efficient, removable pieces give the driver the option to switch out accessories at their convenience. The doors can be taken on and off with ease due to their built-in grab handles, and safely stored in the included protective bags! You won’t be confused about instructions because it comes with a QR scannable code that provides detailed instructions for both the two-door and, first-ever, four-door Bronco models. You can remove a section of your roof or the whole top! If you remove the roof from this 2021 Bronco, its halo-like opening will be revealed from above! Even the grille is detachable, as well as fender flares and the fender itself!

Game-Changing Technology

This Bronco is here to guide you through your extreme outdoor adventures with the new “Terrain Management System.” This game-changing technology adjusts the vehicle’s performance for any kind of landscape! The Go Over Any Terrain or “G.O.A.T.” Modes include Normal, Slippery, Sport, Eco, Baja, Rock Crawl, Sand, and Mud/Ruts. The transmission, engine, steering, and driveline work cohesively to ensure you a smooth trip, regardless of region.

But wait! In order to properly rough it through all those terrains, you’ll need to enable the front bar stabilizer disconnection. Yup, you read that right! When you’re finessing through the turbulent territory, you’ll need a vehicle with wheels that can independently sustain contact to the ground! The front bar stabilizer instantly disconnects regardless of the method. In a flash, it automatically reconnects when you kick your speed back up to 20 miles per hour so you can keep riding wild. It has other schwanky perks like a heated steering wheel and 12-volt power connections and a Molle strap system for extra, secure storage.

Also, who else can say that their car is “torture-tested”?

To be Ford Tough, Requires Ford Care

The Ford Bronco is resilient, so you can stay safe. The highly anticipated Bronco model comes with a pre and post-collision safety system. The operation scans the road to identify vehicles or pedestrians that could result in unfortunate collisions. For an added level of defensive driving, the Bronco has got your back by utilizing the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system. The cameras placed on the front, rear, and mirrors of the vehicle provide a 360-Degree view for the driver! This Ford also comes with blind-spot and lane departure warnings. The 2021 Ford Bronco certainly is built for the thrills of your outdoor adventures. It’s undoubtedly equally as equipped for the city on the paved roads as well.
